Recently Google announced that Google Local Business Center will now be called Google Places.
Google has added certain new features to Google Places, including enhanced listing options for only $25 per location. In addition, they are now offering QR Codes, which can be added to your business card and other marketing materials. The QR Code allows anyone with a QR Reader equipped cellular phone to easily visit your website by using this cutting-edge technology.
Google has even gone as far as allowing business owners to apply for a free photo shoot of their business location to add to Google Places.
